Two Ensembles to Tour Asia
The Howard Unversity Choir, under the direction of Dr. J. Weldon Norris, will be takng a select group of students on a tour of China. The itinerary includes performances in Beijing, Shenyang, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Nanjing, and Shanghai. The group will tour from March 13th through March 22th.
The Howard University Jazz Ensemble (HUJE), under the direction of Fred Irby, III, is to visit Japan. This is the fourth trip the ensemble has made to Japan in the last 10 years. On this trip they will visit the cities of Tokyo, Karuizawa, Nagano, Yokohama, and Chiba. The group will be touring from May 12th through May 19th.
