We will be accepting applications from scholars across the country” said Dr. Muaka. Although students from students nationwide will be consider, Dr. Muaka is persistent about Howard students, who currently have some level of Swahili speaking ability, to apply.

Applicants will be selected by February 2020 for the Summer 2020 trip. The application process is set to begin in October 2019 and more details can be found at on the department’s website, at , and on the Ralph J. Bunche Center for International Affairs .
