To Break Stereotypes, Professor Teaches Criminal Justice Course From Jail

Sociology and Criminology Professor, Dr. Bahiyyah Muhammad is working to help her students confront stereotypes regarding incarceration. To do this she is teaching her Criminial Justice course, popularly known as "Inside Out: Crime & Justice", inside of a jail. Dr. Muhammad recently shared the story behind this course with Heart Threads and WUSA 9 News. They crafted a short documentary to capture her journey.
