Call For Papers: COAS Junior Faculty Scholars Workshop

To encourage Junior Faculty research, the College of Arts & Sciences is pleased to host the COAS Junior Faculty Scholars Workshop.


Format: Each workshop will be a discussion of work-in-progress by one junior faculty member. Work will be pre-circulated and attendees are required to have read the work in preparation for the discussion.

To Present: Send a title and abstract via email to Associate Dean Foster. Scheduling will be based on the order received and with consideration to broad representation from the College. All faculty are welcome to attend!

  • Work must be truly in-progress but can be at any stage (draft conference paper/poster, journal article manuscript, research proposal, etc.)
  • Work will be pre-circulated
  • Presenters must send their work to Associate Dean Thomas Foster no less than one week before the event or the workshop may be canceled
  • Scheduling will be done on an ongoing basis
