The College of Arts and Sciences Graduation Recognition Ceremonies

The COAS Graduation Recognition ceremonies are for all COAS graduates. This is the ceremony where COAS students will walk across the stage and receive their diploma cover. There are two COAS ceremonies, one for Natural Sciences and another for Social Sciences and Humanities. Graduates must be both academically and financially cleared to participate in graduation festivities. Regalia is required for all ceremonies

The Graduation Recognition Ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences will be held on:

                                                           Thursday, May 8th, 2025, In Burr Gymnasium. 

  • The ceremony for Natural Sciences will be held from 8 am-11 am.

    (Graduates MUST arrive in the Lower Gym by 7:00 am, processional begins at 7:30 am)

     

  • The ceremony for Social Sciences & Humanities will be held from 1 pm-3 pm. 

    (Graduates MUST arrive in the Lower Gym by 12:00 pm, processional begins at 12:30 pm)

COAS Tickets, Honors Cords and Medallions Pick-Up

Graduating students will be able to pick up COAS ceremony tickets, and Latin honors cords and medallions on the following days:

 

COAS Latin Honors Cord & Ticket Pick-Up: Douglass Hall, Room 221

- Tuesday, May 6th: 12 pm-3 pm

- Wednesday, May 7th: 9 am- 12 pm

 

 

COAS Graduation Rehearsals

Attending the graduation rehearsal is essential for familiarizing yourself with the proceedings, practicing key moments, and ensuring a smooth and memorable ceremony. Your participation not only contributes to the overall coordination but also enhances your confidence and readiness for the big day. Let's make the most out of this rehearsal to ensure our graduation is a success!

Rehearsal will take place on the following date and times below in Burr Gym (Lower Gym):

Wednesday May 7, 2025:

Natural Sciences: 12:30 pm-1:30 pm

Social Sciences and Humanities: 1:30 pm-2:30 pm
