Nagea Kirkley graduated from Howard University in 2023, as a double major in international affairs and community development, with a minor in French. Her plan is to continue her education at the graduate level with the aim of becoming a community leader and director of an international non-governmental organization (NGO).

With a dedicated focus on global development, education, and housing, Ms. Kirkley has actively contributed to advancing the objectives of safe and affordable housing through her involvement with The Department of Urban Housing and Development. Additionally, she has played a role in bringing products to developing markets as a scholar in the Goldman Sachs Market Madness program and has championed sustainable and eco-friendly urban development and education with the South African Institute for International Affairs. She has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. She will be spending her time in Côte d'Ivoire.
